Eddie Murdoch a proud Wiradjuri man and descendant of the Riley and
Dunn family from Wellington in Central West NSW, he was born and
raised in Wangal Country in Sydney Inner West. He has lived, worked
and operated his own business on Darug Country over the 27 years.

He first gained industry experience working with multi nationals in the
Electrical wholesale sector from 1999 to 2011. In 2011 he opened his
own business non-Indigenous Business AEW where he built strong
industry connections and grew the business from a startup.

Seven years later in 2018 he opened AIEW, the first certified dedicated
Indigenous electrical wholesaling business. AIEW is a family owned
and operated business which includes his son Jordan who joined
the team in 2021 after completing his electrical apprenticeship.

AIEW has developed and grown with the support of a great team
and has now expanded into Noongar Country in Western Australia
by setting up a majority owned electrical wholesaler in partnership
with Myelec Electrical Wholesalers.

WAIEW is a partnered business and with the help of Peter Eiffe
and Jason Whelan we look forward to being able to support your
business and be the go to wholesaler.
